The Tactile Sculptures began as an experiment born out of quarantine boredom and the restrictions of a virtual gallery. My desire to create playful sculptures with contrasting textures could not be adequately portrayed in a virtual gallery space, so, consequently, these sculptures instead exist primarily in a playful video demonstrating how they could be interacted with. The video associated with these sculptures was my first attempt into video art and was one of my first submissions to graduate school.
